O’Connell and Murphy Sign for Cork City Women’s
More great news for UCC Ladies Soccer Club with another two talented players signing for Cork City Women’s FC this week. Roisín O’Connell is a former UCC Ladies Soccer player who made a great impact on the pitch while she was with us, she stated “I’m looking forward to challenging myself and improving my game through playing at a higher level in the Women’s National League”.
Lauren Murphy has also proved to be a great asset to our club over the past 4 years and again is no stranger to this high level of soccer with her fantastic experience ranging from club level to international level. Lauren stated “It’s a great opportunity to test myself against the best players in the country. As I have played at this level before I know what is expected and I’m really looking forward to the challenge ahead”.
