Ladies Soccer Awards Night
A great night was had at our annual awards night on Monday in the Pavillion. A great turnout from the whole club as numerous girls were awarded for their successes this past season. It was also the last time all the girls would be together before they go their separate ways for the summer.
Organised by our fantastic committee, the night ran very smoothly. Coaches from both squads gave an address of the past season and thanked all the girls for their hardwork and commitment given.
Winners on the night were as follows:
Laura Lynch- Premier Squad Player of the Year
Norma Healy- Development Squad Player of the Year
Kate Connors- Fresher of the year
A presentation of appreciation was given to Development squad manager, Jamie Buckley, who is leaving the club to pursue his soccer career in the US. We wish him all the best in his future career.
A special thank you award was also presented to our Club Captain, Annie Walsh, for her fantastic four years of service she has given to the club. Her commitment is endless and you will be dearly missed next year Annie.
