Quadruple Success for Wilton United
We would like to congratulate the Wilton United Ladies team who won the Munster Intermediate Cup this evening in Charleville. Wilton have ended their outstanding season on a big high this evening with their 2-1 win over last years winners Killenaule.
Under the management of Stephen Lynch and Pat Bowdren, Wilton have completed the quadruple this year, they won the League, League Cup, Challenge Cup & Munster Intermediate Cup. It’s fantastic to see six players from our Premier Squad panel achieve such success at club level. Players who participated tonight included our captain Laura Lynch, Ciara O’ Connell, Erin O’ Donovan, Elly Stritch, Amy O’ Connor & Lauren Murphy.
Well done to all involved, winning the quadruple happens by no accident and is testament to all your hard-work throughout the season. We hope that the successful streak can continue this week as our Premier Squad look for their first win of the season as they take on IT Tralee at The Mardyke Arena sports grounds.
